About me

Who am I? Why do I have my own website? What is my motivation behind what I am creating? Questions, that I ask myself also now and then.

At this point, I can not write a detailed CV about my non-existent art studies, my not yet completed exhibitions or my non-existent publications in relevant journals.

Of course I also liked to paint as a child, especially at school and in my exercise books. Art was one of my favorite subjects, but so was math and geography. After school, I had no plan at all what I wanted to do in my life. In fact, I had done a correspondence degree in communication design during high school. So I tried my luck and applied to study at two different colleges. I was rejected, which demotivated me so much that I did not paint in the following years. And so I drifted towards mathematics and economics ...

In 2013, there was an occasion when I got my hands on oil paints for the first time and it was love at the first brushstroke. My first exercises were done with the help of the famous Bob Ross. Other (hobby) painters on Youtube unconsciously helped with my development. Thank you!

Generally I need the variety: different techniques, different motives. I am also working with watercolor more and more often to expand my spectrum and try out new things. It also makes fun to build something in 3D from time to time, whereby even more the question arises "Where to go with all the creative stuff?".

Since I am not getting any younger, I thought now that it is time to publish my work. Maybe there are other people who like it.

Have fun browsing through my galleries (of course that's not all pictures;)), I'm glad about news from you (see "Contact") and I promise to create new works / blog entries on a regular basis.

My dream is to be able to live from my art. I therefore also sell some of my works (you can find information about this in the respective description or just ask me under "Contact"). I also do commissioned work. Feel free to contact me!
